Impact Given the fact Cooley came into this game averaging 6.3 yards per carry with 13 touchdowns in 10 games, relatively speaking he was kept in check. The Wake transfer won't get to play for the conference title this year, which leaves him, at most, a bowl game remaining to pad his stats (though said stats are impressive).

Impact This is a return to form after Cooley oddly only had nine carries for 37 yards in the now-famed upset loss to Kennesaw State. On the year Cooley has averaged 6.1 yards per carry and scored seven touchdowns in as many games, so now that we've seen him produce as per usual, all concerns should be alleviated.

Impact Cooley was a star last year, rushing for 1,401 yards and 16 touchdowns. Over his first five games this season he ran for 545 yards and six scores. Thus, the fact he had such a lackluster game against the Owls is a surprise, but it will also probably prove anomalous.

Impact Liberty's game against Appalachian State was canceled, so Cooley went ahead and had two games worth of production in one. In four out of five games this season the Wake Forest transfer has had over 100 yards and a touchdown.

Impact Cooley ended up limited in Liberty's last game due to a leg issue that had him considered day-to-day. Then, this game ended up pushed until 10:45 p.m. ET due to weather issues. That didn't stop him from getting in gear, though. The Wake transfer has rushed for over 100 yards in every game he was able to finish.

Impact Last year Cooley transferred to Liberty from Wake Forest to finally get an opportunity. He made the most of it, rushing for 1,401 yards and 16 touchdowns. This was ultimately an easy win for the Flames. If they had needed more from Cooley, he could have given them more.
