Impact Wadley sat out Tuesday's practice for unspecified reasons, but he's back on the field a day later. He had only four touches last week against Bethune-Cookman, but he could be in line for a larger role this week at Boise State with Deion Hankins (shoulder) ruled out, though Ronald Awatt should handle the bulk of the backfield work.

Impact The reason behind Wadley's absence is unclear, but he was limited to just four touches against Bethune-Cookman during the Week 1 contest and isn't exactly on a great path to more in Week 2. Deion Hankins (shoulder) is also absent from practice, which could set Ronald Awatt up as the lead back for the Miners again to versus Boise State on Friday.

Listed on depth chart Wadley is listed as the No.2 running back on the UTEP depth chart.

Impact Wadley missed all but one game last season due to injury but is back for the start of 2021. He has not played a full season since 2018 when he ran for 627 yards and seven touchdowns. Deion Hankins will get the start for the Miners on Saturday.
