Gary Bryant Jr. - Remains absent from practice Bryant (undisclosed) still isn't practicing with the Ducks, James Crepea of OregonLive.com reports.
Impact Bryant missed his second straight day of practice, which doesn't bode well for the receiver's availability in the Civil War this Saturday against Oregon State. The wideout has yet to play this season, and it appears it would take a late-week push by Bryant to overcome his injury and suit up against the Beavers.
SEPTEMBER 11, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Traeshon Holden - Sprints for 59-yard TD Holden hauled in four of five targets for 78 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 37-34 victory versus Boise State.
Impact Holden made one of the plays of the game early in the third quarter when he caught a slant pass before speeding upfield untouched for a 59-yard touchdown. The 6-foot-3 senior didn't make much of an impact otherwise, but neither did any of Oregon's other pass catchers outside of Texas A&M transfer Evan Stewart, who was targeted on seven of quarterback Dillon Gabriel's 21 passing attempts. Through the first two weeks of the season, Holden has totaled seven catches (on nine targets) for 114 yards and a touchdown. While the Oregon offense has yet to find it's footing this season, Holden's explosiveness should earn him a solid workload alongside wideouts Stewart and Tez Johnson, who have logged 12 and 16 targets this season, respectively.
SEPTEMBER 10, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Noah Whittington - Logs just six carries Week 2 Whittington notched six rushes for 21 yards during Saturday's 37-34 victory versus Boise State.
Impact Whittington fell to the wayside for the second week in a row. He also almost made one of the biggest mistakes of the game in the fourth quarter when errantly dropped the ball just short of the goal line on an 84-yard kickoff return. Luckily for Oregon, fellow running back Jayden Limar jumped on the ball to preserve a touchdown in this last-minute win against Boise State. The 5-foot-8 running back is considered a freak athlete and, after missing the final 10 games of the year with a foot injury, he was expected to shoulder a solid workload behind Jordan James this year. However, with some continuing struggles along the offensive line, it appears the Ducks have not been able to rely on their rushing game in the way many would have hoped. Whittington will likely have to play a minimal role as second fiddle to James during this coming Saturday's road matchup versus Oregon State.
SEPTEMBER 10, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Tez Johnson - Massive punt return in tight win Johnson gathered in all three targets for negative one yard during Saturday's 37-34 win over Boise State.
Impact Johnson's production out wide took a big step back after leading the Ducks with 12 catches on 13 targets in Week 1. Instead, quarterback Dillon Gabriel's attention turned more to Evan Stewart and Traeshon Holden, as these two combined for 12 targets and two touchdown receptions. Johnson still found a way to impact the game on special teams, flashing his elite speed with an 85-yard punt return touchdown during this back-and-forth second half. The 5-foot-10 senior still figures to be one of the primary playmakers for the Ducks despite his negative offensive stat line Week 2. Expect him to eat up a bigger share of targets alongside Stewart, Holden and tight end Terrance Ferguson this coming Saturday versus Oregon State.
SEPTEMBER 10, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Terrance Ferguson - Three catches versus Boise State Ferguson hauled in all three targets for 27 yards during Saturday's 37-34 win over Boise State.
Impact Ferguson didn't make as big of an impact as his seven-catch performance Week 1. But he still wound up tied with wideout Tez Johnson for the Ducks' third-most targets behind Evan Stewart (seven) and Traeshon Holden (five) on Saturday. Ferguson and Johnson led the team in targets in the season opener with nine and 13, respectively. Oregon's offense has looked inconsistent with struggles in pass blocking and run protection through the first two weeks. With the team still trying to establish a rhythm, it's likely that a true No. 1 receiver will not emerge anytime soon for quarterback Dillon Gabriel. Nevertheless, it's a good bet to expect Ferguson to remain a significant piece of this passing game after logging 42 catches for 414 yards last season. He'll look to catch his first touchdown pass of the season this coming Saturday versus Oregon State.

Evan Stewart - Shows up versus Boise State Stewart notched five receptions (on seven targets) for 112 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 37-34 win versus Boise State.
Impact Stewart's production bounced back after a lackluster Week 1 debut with Oregon when he caught three of five targets for just 15 yards. The Texas A&M transfer led the team in catches, targets and receiving yards after he appeared to fall to the wayside behind Tez Johnson last week. Stewart also showcased his elite vertical route-running with receptions of 67 and 34 yards - the latter of which was a walk-in touchdown. However, his other three catches went for three, six and one yard, and his apparent lack of usage in the intermediate passing game could mean he's a boom-of-bust proposition for fantasy moving forward this year. He'll look to wrack up more long catches at Oregon State this coming Saturday.
SEPTEMBER 8, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Jordan James - Buoys rushing game again James accrued 17 carries for 102 yards during Saturday's 37-34 win over Boise State.
Impact James rattled off a steady string of five to 12 yard carries against the Broncos' defense. He also far-and-away handled the bulk of Oregon's rushing attempts for the second week in a row, as backup Noah Whittington logged just six carries for 21 yards Saturday. However, James also failed to break a carry longer than 12 yards, and he's yet to break off many explosive touches through the first two weeks of the season. This is likely due in part to the ongoing struggles for the Ducks' offensive line this season after this unit was a dominant piece of last year's offense. James and the Oregon rushing offense will look to pick things up on the road Week 3 against in-state rival Oregon State, which limited him to seven carries for 43 yards last season.

Dillon Gabriel - Scores three TDs in last-second win Gabriel was 18-for-21 passing for 243 yards and two touchdowns during Saturday's 37-34 victory over Boise State. He also had 11 rushes for -15 yards with one touchdown.
Impact Gabriel scored all three of the Ducks' offensive touchdowns in what was another choppy performance for this unit. The Oklahoma transfer was sacked four times and coughed up a fumble with the game tied early in the 4th quarter. Yet, he still logged a superb stat sheet for the second week in a row and has now completed 84.3 percent of 70 passing attempts this season. Gabriel walked into the end zone for a one-yard touchdown in the first half, and he delivered passing touchdowns of 59 and 34 yards to Traeshon Holden and Evan Stewart, respectively. These two also finished as Oregon's leading receivers Saturday after quiet Week 1 outings. Despite the flaws in the offense so far this season, Gabriel has almost seamlessly replaced Bo Nix as yet another highly-efficient passer in this system. The team's bevy of explosive playmakers should also keep Gabriel's fantasy production consistent moving forward. He'll look to record another productive performance on the road versus in-state rival Oregon State this coming Saturday.
