Impact While Wright didn't see a ton of volume, the senior opened the scoring in the Hawaii Bowl with a three-yard touchdown late in the first quarter. Wright will finish what is likely his final collegiate season with 659 all-purpose yards and eight touchdowns across 13 contests.

Impact Wright was one of five Bulls to receive at least six carries Saturday and was very productive with his touches. He scored a pair of touchdowns, bringing him up to five on the season, and added 50 yards in the passing game on two catches. It was a very unusual game as the Bulls ran the ball for over 400 yards. It appears Wright still sits behind Kelley Joiner in the depth chart, but he is still involved in the offense and faces a favorable matchup Saturday versus Tulsa.

Impact Wright was excellent in Friday's win as he led the team in rushing attempts and yards. He set season highs with 17 carries and 117 yards and scored his third touchdown of the season, a 64-yard rush in the second quarter. He still split carries with Kelley Joiner, but Wright looked like the lead back during Friday's win.

Impact Wright led Bulls running backs in rushing attempts and yards Saturday and looked much better than Kelley Joiner and Ta'Ron Keith who combined for seven yards on seven carries. None of the running backs received a high volume of touches given the scoreline, but it was a positive sign to see Wright leading the way. He faces a difficult matchup next versus Memphis on Oct. 11, but that matchup should shed some more light on who the Bulls true No. 1 back is.

Impact Wright was one of three productive Bulls' running backs Saturday and led the backfield with 15 carries. He was out rushed by Kelley Joiner, but he still got over 100 rushing yards and scored his second touchdown of the season. He also caught three passes for the second straight game. While the Bulls clearly are sporting a committee in the backfield, Wright has been receiving enough work to still produce in spite of that.

Impact Despite going up against a stout Alabama defense, Wright put together a solid performance with 75 yards from scrimmage on 14 touches. He led all running backs in touches and yards, however quarterback Byrum Brown ran 23 times, leaving significantly fewer touches for the running backs. While Wright is presumably the lead back, the Bulls are clearly running a committee with Kelley Joiner and Ta'ron Keith combining for 15 touches.

Quiet in season opener Wright notched seven carries for 19 yards and one touchdown and caught their only target for 10 yards during Saturday's 48-3 victory versus Bethune-Cookman.

Impact Wright was expected to lead the Bulls' backfield again this season, but early signs indicate that may not be the case. Kelley Joiner was the first running back on the field Saturday and received double the number of Wright's carries. While Wright will certainly have an important role to play in the offense, he will be competing with Joiner for opportunities.

Impact Wright scored his sixth touchdown of the season Saturday, a one-yard rush in the 2nd quarter. It marked his fourth rushing touchdown in the last three games. He did not have a very productive game outside of that though as he ran for just 31 yards, the fourth most on the team.

Although he still competes for carries with K'Wan Powell and quarterback Byrum Brown, Wright has established himself as the leader of the Bulls' rushing attack and proved just how high his ceiling is Saturday.

Impact After four years in Gainsville, Wright will stay in his home state and play his fifth year of college football at South Florida.
