Impact McNeil is reportedly focused on improving his blocking and finishing runs at the second level this spring. Which is to say, he's fully recovered and healthy from the injury that held him out of three of Iowa's final four games last season.

No-go for bowl game McNeil (undisclosed) is listed as out for Wednesday's bowl game against Vanderbilt.

Impact McNeil racked up 37 carries for 169 yards while catching five passes for 45 yards spanning eight appearances this season. The true freshman had served in a depth role, but injuries to some of Iowa's top running backs forced him into significant action early in the campaign.
