Impact Bennett made his second straight start Saturday with DJ Lagway (ankle) out again. Bennett accounted for four touchdowns once again, including a 25-yard touchdown rush and three passing touchdowns from beyond 35 yards out. He only threw three incomplete passes too, a near perfect performance excluding his lost fumble. If Lagway misses Saturday's game versus Colorado, Bennett is a perfectly suitable fantasy option.

Impact Bennett stepped up as the Bears' starting quarterback Saturday with DJ Lagway (ankle) out. It was a solid performance for the junior as he accounted for three touchdowns, including a 17-yard rush in the second quarter. He did throw two interceptions against the FCS opponent though, a slightly concerning fact especially if he is needed to start beyond this week.

Set to start Saturday Bennett is set to start Saturday's game against Prairie View A&M, Pete Thamel of ESPN.com reports.

Impact Bennett will get in the mix in Week 2 after starter DJ Lagway suffered a high-ankle sprain in the opener. Given the opponent this week and Louisiana Tech being on the schedule for Week 3, Bennett could get a couple of chances to start under center for the Bears. Bennett doesn't bring a ton of experience to the table, attempting just seven passes through his first two seasons, but he draws a favorable matchup for his first look.
