Expected to start Saturday Alejado is expected to start for the injured Brayden Schager (knee) for Saturday's matchup against New Mexico, Tanner Haworth of ESPN Honolulu reports.

Impact Alejado is expected to start under center for the final game of the regular season as Brayden Schager (knee) is expected to be out. The true freshman quarterback came in for relief duty against Utah State, completing 11 of 12 passes for 111 yards and one touchdown.

Impact Alejado took over under center following an injury to Brayden Schager (knee), with the Warriors down 45-3 in the second half. While he was primarily tasked with mop-up duty, Alejado was solid overall in his first real collegiate action, completing all but one of his passes, including a 44-yard touchdown to Dekel Crowdus.
