Redshirting 2025 season Dortch has requested to redshirt the 2025 season and has been removed from all team activities, per Josh Boutwell of the Troy Messenger.

Impact Dortch missed Week 6 against South Alabama, and now we know why. After a slow start to the season, in which the junior only caught seven passes for 63 yards across four games, Dortch has elected to redshirt and look towards the 2026 campaign. He appears likely to enter the transfer portal soon as well.
