Heading to the NFL Barbee announced he is declaring for the 2023 NFL Draft.
Impact Barbee will head to the NFL after spending three seasons as one of Texas State's primary pass catchers. While he did see a dip in production during the 2022 campaign, this was largely due to his inability to play in the final four games with an undisclosed injury. Barbee finishes his Texas State career 101 receptions for 1,403 yards and 16 touchdowns, and he spent the first year of his collegiate career with Iowa Western Community College.

Impact The Bobcats' top target wasted no time getting going in 2021, hauling in Texas State's lone receiving touchdown of the night when he connected with Brady McBride from 12 yards out. After finishing seventh in the country with 10 receiving touchdowns last year, the junior is primed to put on a show this season.
