Starting quarterback for Week 14 Bottari will be Utah's starting quarterback Friday at Central Florida, Steve Bartle of KSL Sports reports.

Impact Isaac Wilson (undisclosed) is the latest Utah quarterback to fall victim to an injury taking him out of action. Wilson is one of four Utes QBs dealing with injury, leaving Bottari as the Utes' leading man to step up in their upcoming game at Central Florida. In his limited Week 13 performance, he completed five of nine passes for 55 yards and logged four carries for another 47 yards.

Last man standing for the Utes Bottari was 5-for-9 passing for 55 yards during Saturday's 31-28 loss against Iowa State. He also had four rushes for 47 yards.

Impact Bottari entered the game in the second half after starter Isaac Wilson left with an undisclosed injury. Three other Utah quarterbacks have already been ruled out for the season, so it would only make sense if Bottari does end up with a start at UCF in the regular season finale. It's worth noting that Bottari is a run-first QB with two rushing scores during the 2023 season.

Impact Bottari got the start after Bryson Barnes (undisclosed) was ruled out, and although he didn't impress, he did just enough to keep the offense moving against Colorado. There will be plenty of time for Barnes to get healthy before Utah's eventual bowl appearance, so this will likely be all we will see from Bottari moving forward.
