Impact Benson was in a non-contact jersey in practice during recent weeks for an undisclosed injury. It appears he should be good to go for the opener, however, against Ohio on Saturday.

Impact Benson had not been practicing at all for at least a few days prior to Thursday so it's encouraging to see him making some progress. It still remains unclear what he's dealing with but it's apparent he's ramping up his activity in preparation for the season opener against Ohio on Sept. 4.
