Evan Bullock - Out for season Head Coach Sonny Cumbie said Monday that Bullock is out for the season due to an undisclosed injury, BleedTechBlue reports.

Impact Bullock sustained the injury during the first half of Louisiana Tech's most recent game, and he's been ruled out for the final two weeks of the season. In his stead, Trey Kukuk will serve as the Bulldogs' starting quarterback, while true freshman Jackson Bradley will take second-team reps. Bullock had served in a backup role for most of the 2025 season.

Impact Finley is worth noting because the tight end led the Bulldogs in receiving yards and receptions in this game. Quarterback Blake Baker (knee) is done for the season, and so the output here is quite concerning.

Andrew Burnette - Rushes for 39 yards Burnette ran five times for 39 yards against Wazzu on Saturday.

Impact While 39 yards rushing is not remarkable in a vacuum, that bested all other La Tech backs, and also topped the receiving output of any player. The offense really struggled here, but Burnette may have earned himself a few more carries going forward.

Trey Kukuk - Does a bit on the ground Kukuk went 5-for-8 for 24 yards and an interception and ran nine times for 39 yards against Wazzu on Saturday.

Impact Kukuk and Evan Bullock split time under center with Blake Baker (knee) done for the season. Neither threw the ball well, but Kukuk's 39 rushing yards outpaced Bullock's 36 passing yards, so he probably has the edge coming into the final two games. Important games, to be noted, because the Bulldogs are one win away from bowl eligibility.

Impact Blake Baker suffered a season-ending knee injury so Bullock and Trey Kukuk split time under center in this one. Neither was good, but Kukuk at least added a little value with his legs, so fittingly he may have the leg up.

Impact Kukuk shared playing time with Evan Bullock last week after starting QB Blake Baker (knee) went down with a season-ending injury. However, Louisiana Tech has opted for Bullock under center to start Saturday's game. Considering they split work previously, it wouldn't be shocking if Bullock yielded some work to Kukuk.

Impact Baker was knocked out of Louisiana Tech's loss to Delaware in the first quarter and did not return. Now, it's official: the starting gunslinger will miss the rest of the Bulldogs season with a torn ACL. It's a brutal blow, obviously, but now, Louisiana Tech will turn to Trey Kukuk at quarterback. Kukuk has thrown for 297 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions this season while picking up 134 rushing yards as well.

Blake Baker - Doesn't return after injury Baker (undisclosed) did not return after suffering a first-quarter injury in Saturday's 25-24 loss to Delaware.

Impact Baker went down with an unknown injury against the Hens, and it was serious enough for him to stay sidelined. The starting quarterback completed four of seven passes for 41 yards before his departure. He'll aim to get back to full health before next Saturday's away game at Washington State.

Jalen Mickens - Nets 42 yards Mickens caught four passes for 42 yards versus Delaware on Saturday.

Impact Mickens only has 14 catches for 142 yards and a touchdown on the season. He's a true freshman, though, so the fact he works into the mix at all is notable.

Clay Thevenin - Rushes for two TDs Thevenin ran 10 times for 64 yards and two touchdowns and caught three passes for 42 yards Saturday against Delaware.

Impact Thevenin led the team in rushing yards, receiving yards, and was responsible for both of its offensive touchdowns. He's kind of become the La Tech offense, which means he could be quite productive down the stretch.

Trey Kukuk - Sees action against Delaware Kukuk went 3-for-3 for 66 yards and ran nine times for 28 yards against Delaware on Saturday.

Impact After Blake Baker left the game, both Evan Bullock and Kukuk saw time under center. Bullock played more, but Kukuk played better. If Baker is out against Wazzu next week, maybe Kukuk gets the shot to start.
