Impact In addition to leading the Huskies, Hansen had a career best in receiving yardage in a game for his career. The junior has started to peak near the end of the season with 11 catches for 128 yards and three touchdowns in the final three games of the regular season.

Impact After not registering stats in the previous game against UAB, Hansen added his third touchdown of the season. The 18 catches for 157 yards so far this season is his best career numbers. The junior will have a tough time against a UMass defense (Nov. 30) that is in the top 10 in the country against the pass.

Impact With his career best day against Wake Forest, Hansen now has six catches for 58 yards in the past two games. With the development and being injury free for redshirt sophomore quarterback Nick Evers, the junior tight end will be looking to continue to add to the passing yards. Hansen might have a tougher time doing that this week against Rice (Oct. 26). The Owls pass defense is top 16 in the country, but Rice has allowed almost two passing touchdowns per game in 2024.
