GAME LOG

Unlikely to play vs. Duke Brown (foot) is unlikely to play in the bowl game against Duke on Dec. 31, per Adam Beadle of On3.
Impact Brown isn't medically cleared yet, making his return against Duke very unlikely. He's reportedly trending in the right direction after missing the final seven games of the season, but still appears unlikely to give it a go in the bowl game.
DECEMBER 18 • ROTOWIRE
Returns to practice Brown (foot) has returned to practice, Rivals reports.
Impact For much of Arizona State's 2025 season, a foot injury has sidelined Brown, who has logged four games this year. Now that this year's regular season is finished, he can play one more game without losing his redshirt. ASU's team is bowl-eligible via a Dec. 31 game with Duke, and there is a legitimate chance that the Sun Devils use him then.
DECEMBER 9 • ROTOWIRE
Inactive Week 14 Brown (foot) will not appear in Friday's game against Arizona.
Impact Brown will remain sidelined as expected after suffering a significant foot injury earlier this season. The 6-foot-1 junior back has not seen the field since Week 5 against TCU, and he is not expected to return this season.
NOVEMBER 25 • ROTOWIRE
Likely to sit out remaining season Brown (foot) is likely to sit out the remainder of Arizona State's 2025 season, Chris Karpman of 247Sports reports.
Impact It looks like Brown returning for the 2025 season is far bleaker than before, considering he was just out indefinitely the last time his updated status became public. Arizona State's running back room will need a solid backup without Brown available, and it looks like he will redshirt this year after logging 178 all-purpose yards via 18 carries and eight receptions.
NOVEMBER 3 • ROTOWIRE
Sidelined for foreseeable future Brown (foot) will be out for the foreseeable future, Michelle Gardner of The Arizona Republic reports.
Impact Brown, who hasn't played since Week 5, was reported Sunday after the Sun Devils' loss to Utah to not be close to 100 percent. This report backs that up further, as it appears Arizona State will need to make do without Brown in its backfield for some time. Meanwhile, Raleek Brown and Kayne Udoh will continue to hold things down on Tempe.
OCTOBER 15 • ROTOWIRE
Not close to 100 percent Brown isn't close to 100 percent due to a foot injury, 247sports.com reports Sunday.
Impact Brown was taken off the injury report leading up to Saturday's game against Utah, but he didn't take the field, and it's now known he's still tending to a foot injury. While an exact timeline for his return is unclear, Sunday's update makes Brown's availability for an Oct. 18 matchup against Texas Tech feel unlikely. If he can't go, Kanye Udoh and Demarius Robinson would likely serve as Raleek Brown's backups.
OCTOBER 12 • ROTOWIRE
No longer on injury report Brown (undisclosed) is no longer on the injury report and will be available to face Utah on Saturday.
Impact Brown was questionable earlier in the week, but the running back will be available and should handle his regular workload in the backfield while operating behind Raleek Brown. Brown has 18 carries for 106 yards, as well as eight catches for 72 yards, in four games this season.

OCTOBER 11 • ROTOWIRE
Questionable for Saturday Brown (undisclosed) is questionable for Saturday's game at Utah, per the Big 12 availability report.
Impact Brown is back on the injury report as he is officially considered questionable for Saturday's road contest. He was able to play through an ankle injury in Week 5, but it's currently unclear if that's the injury he is currently dealing with. His status is worth monitoring ahead of Saturday's game.
OCTOBER 8 • ROTOWIRE
Practicing with first-team offense Brown (ankle) practiced with Arizona State's first-team offense Tuesday as the Sun Devils prepare for TCU on Friday night, per Rivals.com.
Impact Brown was deemed available to play against Baylor in Week 4 after sitting out the previous game with an ankle injury. However, he only logged two carries for nine yards against the Bears, and clearly wasn't himself and/or at full strength. The fact that he's running with the starters in practice is a good sign that Arizona State plans to use him more in Week 5 against the Horned Frogs.
SEPTEMBER 23 • ROTOWIRE
Ready to roll Saturday Brown (ankle) is available to play against Baylor on Saturday.
Impact Brown was probable in the injury report, but the star running back has been cleared and should handle his regular workload. Brown has nine carries for 84 yards in two games this season.
SEPTEMBER 20 • ROTOWIRE
Probable for Week 4 Brown (ankle) is probable for Saturday's game at Baylor.
Impact Brown's return to practice was reassuring, and his probable status even more so going to Arizona State's upcoming game. The running back started his 2025 strong in Week 1 by logging over 150 all-purpose yards before his ankle injury slowed him down. With the Sun Devils beginning conference action Saturday, Brown will look to pick up the pace soon.
SEPTEMBER 17 • ROTOWIRE
Back at practice Brown (ankle) is back at practice for Arizona State after missing Week 3 against Texas State, per Rivals.com.
Impact Brown got injured against Mississippi State in Week 2, only managing two carries for 11 yards in that game after he toted the rock seven times for 73 yards in Week 1. The tailback was described as probable earlier in the week by head coach Kenny Dillingham, and the fact that he's back at practice reinforces that notion further. All signs point to Brown returning Saturday on the road against Baylor.
SEPTEMBER 16 • ROTOWIRE
Probable for Week 4 Brown (ankle) is probable for this upcoming Saturday's matchup at Baylor according to head coach Kenny Dillingham, Chris Karpman of 247Sports.com reports.
Impact Brown tweaked his ankle back in Week 2, and he was then unable to play in this past Saturday's win over Texas State. The starting running back will hopefully now be back for Week 4 against the Bears, but he hasn't fully been cleared yet. Brown's true status for the game should be released in the upcoming week.

Doubtful for Week 3 Brown (ankle) is considered a long shot to play in Arizona State's Week 3 clash with Texas State, per Chris Karpman of 247Sports.com.
Impact Brown tweaked his ankle in the Sun Devils' upset loss to Mississippi State, leaving the game and getting sent to the locker room, not to return. Now, he reportedly "probably won't play" in Week 3, leaving Raleek Brown and Kayne Udoh in line to handle the backfield duties.
SEPTEMBER 8 • ROTOWIRE
Tweaks ankle Brown (leg) tweaked his ankle in the loss to Mississippi State, per Chris Karpman of 247Sports.com.
Impact Brown was sent to the locker room in the Sun Devils' upset loss to Arizona State, and he didn't return. The tailback reportedly tweaked his ankle, according to head coach Kenny Dillingham, but the skipper wouldn't provide more of an update. It appears as though Brown may have dogged a bullet injury-wise, although we won't know much until the Sun Devils can evaluate him as they try to flush this loss and move on to Week 3 against Texas State.

SEPTEMBER 6 • ROTOWIRE
Sent to locker room Brown (undisclosed) was sent to Arizona State's locker room during the Week 2 clash with Mississippi State, per Rivals.com.
Impact Brown had notched two carries for 11 yards before getting knocked out of the game, but he's now been taken back to the locker room to be evaluated. In his stead, Raleek Brown and Kayne Udoh should see most of the work in the Sun Devils' backfield.

No. 12 Arizona State squares off against Mississippi State in Week 2

The No. 12 Arizona State Sun Devils go on the road to square off against the Mississippi State Bulldogs
SEPTEMBER 2 • Associated Press
145 yards in opener Brown posted seven rushes for 73 yards and reeled in all six targets for 72 yards during Saturday's 38-19 victory over Northern Arizona.
Impact Brown had a very strong start to the season as he gained 145 yards on just 13 touches. He tied for the team-lead in rushing attempts and yards and also ranked second on the team in receptions and receiving yards. That level of production on the ground and through the air is extremely promising for the remainder of the campaign.
SEPTEMBER 1 • ROTOWIRE
Listed as starter Brown is listed as a starter for the Sun Devils' upcoming game Saturday against Northern Arizona, Damon Allred of Arizona Sports reports.
Impact Considering the Sun Devils' depth chart, Brown being their first-choice running back is looking more like it will come to fruition. He logged first-team reps throughout August and that may continue come Saturday. Brown will look to improve even further, just like he did in 2024, which includes his 540 all-purpose yards (351 rushing and 189 receiving) and three touchdowns.
