Won't suit up in 2023-24 Head coach Scott Satterfield said that Helton won't play in the 2023-24 season due to injury, Justin Williams of The Athletic reports.

Impact Helton, who transferred to Cincinnati from Florida State earlier this offseason, is slated to have his Bearcats debut delayed until the 2024-25 campaign as a result of an undisclosed injury. The 5-foot-9, 175-pound wide receiver made just two appearances for the Seminoles in 2022, after he had tallied at least 14 receptions, 115 receiving yards and two touchdowns in each of the prior three years.

Impact Helton will now transition from Florida State to Cincinnati next fall following his recent publicized commitment. Although the 5-foot-9 wide receiver didn't record any stats this past season, he's still managed to combine for 61 receptions, 819 yards and eight touchdowns in the four campaigns prior.
