Questionable for Saturday
Brown (undisclosed) is questionable for Saturday's game versus Virginia, per the ACC availability report.
Impact
Brown, who missed last Saturday's game versus Pittsburgh, is questionable for Saturday's contest with Virginia. With Isaac Brown (lower leg) and Duke Watson (lower leg) both probable, the Cardinals at least appear to be regaining some health after the running back room was ravaged with injuries.

Won't suit up Saturday
Brown is out for Saturday's game against Pittsburgh, Mike Rutherford of CardChronicle.com reports.
Impact
Brown will miss action after breaking out for 84 yards and two scores on the ground last week versus Bowling Green State. It's unclear what's holding him out of action and how long he could be sidelined. The Cardinals are missing multiple key players in their backfield and it's currently up in the air who might start for them Saturday.

Plays well in other Brown's absence
Brown logged 12 carries for 84 yards and two touchdowns and gathered in all two targets for 35 yards during Saturday's 40-17 win versus Bowling Green.
Impact
Brown put together a career day in the win, made possible by Isaac Brown (lower body) only logging one carry due to injury and Duke Watson (lower body) not playing at all. Brown was a reserve back prior to Week 4, but should the Cardinals' top two tailbacks once again miss time in Week 5 - and both are questionable as of Monday - Brown could be slated for a big workload again.

Commits to Boise State
Brown has committed to Boise State, Pete Nakos of On3 reports.
Impact
During 2024, there may have been no bigger discrepancy between a team's primary and secondary running backs than Boise State had with Ashton Jeanty and any of his teammates. But with Jeanty expected to enter the 2025 NFL Draft, there should be room for a new top dog in the Broncos' running back room. Even with Malik Sherrod and their other RBs as capable options, Brown shows much promise as an RB1. Unlike the others, he was part of an FBS team in 2024 and played well in a tougher situation. Brown logged 47 carries for 243 yards (5.2 averaged per carry) and three touchdowns.
