Impact Russell had a bounce back day despite a slow start in this one. After back-to-back losses, Russell found his groove and recorded his third 300-yard passing game of the season. Russell started the day a bit shaky completing just 11/20 passes for 162 yards with one touchdown and one interception in the first half. However, he came alive in the second half, completing 9-of-11 passes for 150 yards and two touchdowns with no interceptions. Russell has been a bit inconsistent over the last few weeks but has shown huge ability, with a big performance and a bye-week coming up, it could be just what Russell needs for a strong finish to the season.

Tough day in loss to Tennessee Russell was 19-for-29 passing for 147 yards and two interceptions during Saturday's 26-10 loss against Tennessee. He also had 11 rushes for six yards with one touchdown.

Impact Russell struggled mightily against Tennessee as the Alabama offensive line got dominated. Russell had his worst game to this point of the season as he had his first game without a passing since week one against ECU and followed up his previous low from last week of 185 yards passing. To make matters worse Russell also threw two interceptions. Russell did put together a few nice runs, which the yardage from were all pretty much nullified by sacks however, he was able to scramble for Alabama's lone touchdown.
