Impact Unlike before Florida Atlantic's game last Saturday against UNC Charlotte, a matchup in which he was out way before the matchup, there is at least some possibility Weisman is good to go this coming weekend. If not, Tyriq Starks is expected to be FAU's main man under center again.

Impact Weisman suffered a high ankle sprain in the second half of Saturday's game and was replaced by Tyriq Starks. Weisman's X-rays did not show a fracture, but the fact that it's being considered a high ankle sprain is not a good sign for Weisman with less than two weeks left in the season. If Weisman is indeed ruled out for Saturday's game versus Charlotte, Starks would likely get the start.

Solid in relief effort Weisman was 20-for-35 passing for 188 yards, two touchdowns and one interception during Thursday's 49-14 defeat versus East Carolina. He also had six rushes for 41 yards.

Impact Weisman entered the game in the first quarter after Cam Fancher (collarbone) was carted off the field. Weisman played fairly well in relief of Fancher as he tossed two touchdowns and ran for 41 yards on just six carries. With Fancher now ruled out for the season, Weisman is set to take over the Owls' offense for the remaining three games.

Impact Weisman split quarterbacking duties with Cam Fancher Saturday and while he did not do much, he did score a touchdown on the ground. He completed less than 60 percent of his passes and threw an interception in the passing game though, which may hurt his chances to overtake Fancher's job. It's unclear where things stand under center for the Owls, but Weisman has a chance to take over the starting job with Fancher continuing to struggle.
