Medically retires from football Brantley has medically retired from football, Luke Chaney of 247Sports.com reports.

Impact Brantley has at least a year of collegiate eligibility remaining, but he will opt not to use it. He finishes his career having logged 17 receptions for 142 yards and four touchdowns, all with Florida Atlantic.

Catches two TDs in finale Brantley reeled in all two targets for 32 yards and two touchdowns during Saturday's 63-16 victory versus Tulsa.

Impact Brantley had a strong end to the season Saturday as he caught his first two touchdowns of the season. He opened up the scoring with a 28-yard touchdown in the first quarter, and then found the end zone again from four yards out in the fourth. He finishes the season with a measly seven catches (on nine targets) for 79 yards and two touchdowns.
