11 targets in loss at Texas
Prather grabbed eight catches for 40 yards and a touchdown on a season-high 11 targets in Saturday's 38-20 loss at Texas.
Impact
Prather has at least six catches in four straight games and was able to add his second score of the season against the Longhorns. He's been a sneaky good fantasy receiver with 5.6 catches on 6.2 targets per game. While he remains behind Bryce Ford-Wheaton on the depth chart, he's seeing enough work in West Virginia's passing game to be in starting line-ups. West Virginia is on a bye next week before playing Baylor on Oct. 13.

Six catches in third straight game
Prather nabbed six catches for 69 yards on eight targets in Thursday's 33-10 win at Virginia Tech.
Impact
Prather was able to record six catches for the third straight week, however, that's been the ceiling as West Virginia has resorted back to a run-heavy offense. JT Daniels has just two passing touchdowns in their last two games and they racked up 218 rushing yards in the win over the Hokies. When West Virginia does need to throw the ball, it appears Prather could have a big week because he's averaging 7.8 targets per game. West Virginia will play at Texas next week and they will probably need to throw the ball.

Double-digit targets in big win
Prather caught six of ten targets for 51 yards and a touchdown in Saturday's 65-7 win over Towson.
Impact
Prather has been quite active over the last two weeks with at least six catches in back-to-back games. West Virginia's offense appears to be the real deal as they racked up 624 yards of offense in the blowout win. Prather could have a big week from time to time in West Virginia's pass-happy offense. Look to see if he can make three straight games with six catches when the Mountaineers play at Virginia Tech on Thursday night.

Will be in WR rotation
Prather will mix into the wide receiver rotation this season, Nick Farrell of WVIllustrated.com reports.
Impact
Prather is a 6-4 freshman that has impressed the coaching staff enough in camp to earn a chance in the rotation to begin the season. West Virginia will open on Saturday against Maryland.
