Impact Cephus had arguably his best outing of the season Friday as he tied a season high with nine receptions, had his second most yards of the season with 163 and caught his ninth touchdown of the season. After his big day he is now tied for 12th in the country with 76 receptions, and sits at 16th in receiving yards with 964. Next up he faces a massive matchup at Tulane Friday in the regular season finale.

He has been Frank Harris' favorite target all season, and proved Saturday that he can be productive even when Harris is not.

Impact Cephus had his best game of the season Saturday, highlighted by his 84-yard catch and run in the second quarter to take the 24-17 lead. He had nearly 100 yards on his three other catches in the game too, averaging a whopping 45.75 yards per reception. He has a very favorable upcoming schedule, starting on the road at North Texas Saturday.

Impact Cephus caught exactly seven passes for the fourth straight game and he has only failed to reach that number once this season. Still, his consistent volume of receptions and targets gives him a nice floor even when he does not score.

Impact Cephus fell on a fumble in the end zone, hence his rushing touchdown. In UTSA's prolific passing game, Cephus is turning into the "possession guy," which is great for racking up catches, but not so great for big plays and scores.

Franklin is the lead receiver here, but there's enough space for Cephus to get his looks as well. They worked together well in 2020, after all.
