Scores again in bowl loss Simon had six catches for 69 yards and a touchdown in Tuesday's loss to Illinois.

Impact Simon set a season-high with six catches and found the endzone for the sixth time in his last six games. The 6-4 senior set career-high marks with 41 catches for 512 yards and tied his previous best in 2022 with seven touchdowns.

Three receptions for 17 yards Simon (lower leg) reeled in all three targets for 17 yards during Saturday's 17-14 win over Clemson.

Impact Unfortunately for Simon, he could not replicate the volume provided in his previous games. But in each of his last five games, he has logged three or four receptions. Those could come in handy when South Carolina's team begins its postseason action, now with the Gamecocks' top tight end available.

Impact Simon has decided to transfer to South Carolina next season following a four-year stint with Western Kentucky. During his time with Hilltoppers, the 6-foot-4 tight end appeared in 35 games, logging 84 receptions for 1,131 yards and 16 touchdowns. Simon has two years of eligibility remaining.
