Posts fifth 100-yard receiving game Kelly caught 9 of 11 targets for 150 yards during Saturday's 52-15 win over West Virginia.

Impact Kelly posted his fifth 100-yard receiving game of the season and surpassed 1,000 yards receiving for the first time in his career. Kelly has been Texas Tech's best receiver and is targeted often with double-digit opportunities in eight different games. One of the primary reasons he has just five touchdowns is because Tahj Brooks and the running game have been so effective. Stay tuned to see if Kelly makes an appearance in the team's bowl game or whether he opts out to prepare for the NFL Draft.

DECEMBER 1 • ROTOWIRE

Quiet performance against Cowboys Kelly tallied four receptions (on five targets) for 31 yards during Saturday's 56-48 victory versus Oklahoma State.

Impact Kelly managed just four catches despite Texas Tech recording 37 total grabs for 404 yards and four touchdowns via the air. Most of that production went to Caleb Douglas and Coy Eakin as QB Behren Morton did a good job of spreading the ball around. Kelly does have double-digit targets in seven games this year, so he can certainly be relied upon for fantasy duties against West Virginia next week.

NOVEMBER 24 • ROTOWIRE

Back-to-back 100-yard games Kelly tallied eight receptions (on 11 targets) for 106 yards during Saturday's 41-27 loss versus Colorado.

Impact Kelly has recorded back-to-back 100-yard receiving games for the first time this season. He's been a target machine with double-digit opportunities in 7-of-10 games this year. He's having a career year with 76 grabs for 842 yards and five touchdowns on 111 targets. Texas Tech is on a bye before playing at Oklahoma State in Week 13.

NOVEMBER 10 • ROTOWIRE

Season-high 18 targets in win Kelly had eight receptions (on 18 targets) for 127 yards and two touchdowns during Saturday's 23-22 victory over Iowa State.

Impact Kelly had a monster performance with a season-high 18 targets. He has double-digit targets in six of nine games this year and clearly the number one target in the Texas Tech offense. While his yards per target shades towards the lower side, he sees enough volume to make it worth it for most fantasy rosters. He should be in line for another strong performance against Colorado next week.

NOVEMBER 3 • ROTOWIRE

Low YPT in loss at TCU Kelly posted seven receptions (on eight targets) for 19 yards during Saturday's 35-34 defeat versus TCU.

Impact Kelly posted a low 2.7 yards per target (YPT) which is well below his season average at 7.5 yards per game. Behren Morton left the game with a serious injury which forced true freshman Will Hammond into action which could be part of the reason for the significant change in YPT in the losing effort to TCU. It's also worth noting that teammate Caleb Douglas has received double digit targets in each of the last three games and has emerged at the team's top receiver over the last month of the season. Texas Tech will play at Iowa State next week.

OCTOBER 27 • ROTOWIRE

Team-high 12 targets in loss Kelly posted nine receptions (on 12 targets) for 76 yards during Saturday's 59-35 defeat versus Baylor.

Impact Kelly led the team with 12 targets, but it was teammate Caleb Douglas who had a big fantasy performance with nine catches (on 10 targets) for 99 yards and three touchdowns. Kelly is averaging 10.4 targets per game which suggests he should have more than the three touchdowns he has right now. Look for Kelly to receive plenty of looks and start to see more scores if the opportunities continue. Texas Tech will play at TCU next week.

Eight targets in win at Arizona Kelly accrued five catches (on eight targets) for 27 yards during Saturday's 28-22 win against Arizona.

Impact Kelly has at least eight targets in five of six games this season. The surprising aspect of the 2024 Texas Tech Red Raiders is their reliance on the run-game. Tahj Brooks has been awesome with 679 yards and seven touchdowns on 124 carries. When opposing defenses start focusing on Brooks, it should open the field up even more for Kelly. Texas Tech is off next week before playing Baylor in Week 8.

He's well on pace to have his first 1,000 yard receiving season and will push triple digit targets for the first time as well. Kelly is a must start for fantasy against Arizona next week.

Impact Things were already trending in the right direction for Kelly but its nice to get the confirmation that he is cleared and good to go. Kelly should be a big part of Texas Tech's offense going forward.

Warming up, likely to play Kelly (ankle) was spotted participating in warmups ahead of Saturday's game against Cincinnati and is likely to play, Justin Apodaca of The Dallas Morning News reports.

Impact Kelly was already considered probable for Saturday's contest, and now all signs point to him being available. If that's the case, then the Red Raiders would have a huge weapon in the passing attack, as the former Washington State wideout has racked up 31 receptions for 376 yards and three touchdowns across four games in 2024.

Luckily the Red Raiders have a high-volume offense which allows for plenty of opportunities for both of those players. Texas Tech will play Cincinnati next week.

Grabs second TD in big win Kelly hauled in all two targets for 36 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 66-21 victory against North Texas.

Impact Kelly had just two targets but was able to notch his second touchdown of the season. The opportunities for Kelly were much different in this one as Texas Tech led 52-7 at halftime. The star receiver will get closer to his usual double-digit targets when the team plays Arizona State next week.

Kelly had 61 catches (on 96 targets) for 923 yards and eight touchdowns at Washington State last year. He'll get to go up against his old team next week.

Impact Although the Huskies came away woth the narrow win, they weren't able to keep Washington State's passing game at bay. All three of Cameron Ward's favorite targets scored touchdowns in the loss, and Kelly led the pack in receiving yards. The future of the offense is unclear, as both Ward and Kelly have the skills to play at the next level With no bowl game on the horizon, we should soon hear word on Kelly's plans for the spring.
