Impact According to Michael Katz of the Northeast Mississippi Daily Journal, Watkins got two plates put in his previously injured hand during the Rebels' bye week. Even so, he participated in their latest game, albeit with limited snaps. Ideally for them and Watkins, he can get back to regular playing time as soon as Oct. 28 or during November. The redshirt senior has proven to be an excellent option whenever healthy, as his 36 receptions for 536 yards and two touchdowns this year can strongly attest.

Impact Watkins was deemed probable to make his return Saturday, and his participation in warmups seems to indicated that will be the case. However, it's unclear if the heavy tape job will cause any issues for the senior catching the football, assuming he's able to give it ago as expected. Watkins enters the day with three 100-yard receiving efforts under his belt and should be heavily involved again if the hand holds up.
