Impact Marshall was expected to carry a load for the Wolverines heading into his junior season following the departure of former Michigan running back Justice Haynes, but his performance in the seaosn opener left much to be desired. His four YPC in and of itself isn't a negative, but recording just 44 yards on the day without finding the end zone isn't exactly what the hope was for the 5-foot-10 running back heading into 2026. He will hope for better days moving forward, though a tougher test against Oklahoma awaits on Saturday.
