Off injury report Lyle is off the injury report ahead of Saturday's game at Florida State.

Impact Lyle is set to make his return to the field Saturday after missing the last three games with an undisclosed injury. He had five carries for 11 yards in Week 1 versus Notre Dame so he will likely be involved in Saturday's huge contest.

Expected to return vs. FSU Lyle (undisclosed) is expected to return to action against Florida State, per Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald.

Impact Lyle hasn't played since the opener against Notre Dame, when he logged 11 yards on five carries. The tailback is expected to return against the Seminoles, however, and should add depth to a running back room that's featured Mark Fletcher and CharMar Brown this fall.

Impact Unfortunately for Lyle, despite reportedly being available for Week 4 against Florida, he did not play then. However, the running back being close to playing indicates that he is not far off from being used again. And with the Hurricanes having a bye week before their next game, it should be no surprise if they utilize Lyle at Florida State on Oct. 4.

Impact Even though Lyle was cleared to play in Week 3, he didn't suit up since he was still a bit banged up. He should be good to go for Week 4 on Saturday, but it's unclear how much of a workload he'll handle. At best, he's the second option in the backfield behind Mark Fletcher.
