Jordan Allen News, Rumors, Updates - Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets | FOX Sports

Another 10-catch outing Allen hauled in 10 of 12 targets for 120 yards during Saturday's 34-24 defeat versus Virginia Tech.

Impact Allen has logged 10 catches in back-to-back games; his chemistry with quarterback Alberto Mendoza only appears to be growing. There's clearly a concerted effort to get him the ball as well, as he's tallied 23 targets over the past two weeks after he notched 23 over the first four games combined.

Big day in win Allen hauled in 10 of 11 targets for 99 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 28-25 victory against Duke.

Impact Allen notched double-digit receptions for the first time in 2026, and he parlayed that into 99 yards and his first touchdown of the season. Yellow Jackets' quarterback Alberto Mendoza hasn't piloted the most productive arial attack, but Allen has averaged 6.8 targets per game.

Favorite target of Mendoza in loss Allen had eight receptions (on 10 targets) for 113 yards during Thursday's 14-13 defeat versus Colorado.

Impact Allen accounted for about half of Alberto Mendoza's completions in the loss to Colorado. The wideout surpassed 100 yards for the second time in his young career, and after he totaled 320 yards last season, Allen looks poised for a big breakout this fall if he remains a favorite target of Mendoza.

Expected to start in opener Allen is listed as one of the starting wideouts ahead of Week 1 against Colorado on Thursday, Kelly Quinlan of Rivals.com reports.

Impact Allen had a solid freshman season in 2025, making 22 catches on 27 targets for 320 yards across nine games, although he didn't find the end zone. Allen's familiarity with the offense could've played a factor in him being listed as a starter ahead of the season opener.

Big rushing score in win Allen gathered in all two targets for 18 yards along with three carries for 65 yards and a score during Saturday's 36-34 victory over Boston College.

Impact Allen was quiet through the air -- Eric Rivers and Malik Rutherford both did much of the work as receivers. However, the freshman wideout took a jet sweep 54 yards to the house for a huge score that put Georgia Tech back on top on the scoreboard. Allen's been mostly flashes for the Yellow Jackets this season, but his speed is something to behold.

Hauls in six catches Allen recorded six receptions (on seven targets) for 67 yards during Saturday's 41-16 win against Syracuse.

Impact Allen had a career day in the win over Syracuse. The true freshman hasn't been a regular contributor for the Yellow Jackets this season, but he got the opportunity in a blowout win over the Orange and he delivered. Don't expect Allen do become a regular contributor in Atlanta quite yet, but this certainly bodes well for his future with the Georgia Tech offense.
