Impact Yellen transferred away from Arizona State this offseason after he was unable to beat out Jayden Daniels for the Sun Devils' starting quarterback job. He quickly found a new home at Pittsburgh, where he should at least get the chance to compete for the top spot on the depth chart after incumbent starter Kenny Pickett's rather lackluster showing in 2019. Even if he doesn't claim the starting spot for 2020, Yellen should be well positioned for playing time as a redshirt sophomore the following season.
