Impact Jackson has the most production of any of his co-starters, as he's coming off a 191-carry, 754-yard, four-touchdown performance with UTEP in 2024. The season prior, at the FCS level, he had an even bigger season, amassing 1,373 yards and 10 scores on a whopping 252 carries. Jackson clearly has experience being a workhorse back, but it appears as if the Blazers are going to divvy up their backfield work to begin the season. Still, expect plenty of carries for the former Miner.

Heading to Birmingham Jackson announced his committment to play for UAB for the 2025 season via his X account Tuesday.

Impact Jackson will join the Blazers following a single season with UTEP. The redshirt junior running back ran for 754 yards and four touchdowns with the Miners in 2024 while adding 16 receptions for 99 yards and a pair of touchdowns through the air as well. He will retain a single year of eligibility with UAB.
