Hauls in first career TD Hayes reeled in all three targets for 35 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 42-24 victory against Arkansas State.

Impact Hayes hauled in a team-high three receptions Saturday, along with catching a 31-yard touchdown. He was one of eight pass catchers to reel in a reception, as the Memphis receiving corps is still looking for someone to step up as a true WR1. The dominant ground attack limited the passing offense, but Hayes' performance could set him up to see more targets against Boise State in Week 2.
