Retires from football King announced Tuesday via his personal Twitter that he will retire from football.

Impact After five season of college football and two different teams King has decided to leave the sport. King began his career at Oklahoma State where he was the team's second-leading rusher with 469 yards on 99 carries. The running back then transferred to Georgia Southern where he amassed 1,694 rushing yards for 15 touchdowns. He was looking to play his sixth and final year in 2022 after missing most of last year with a torn ACL, and this injury likely contributed to his decision to retire.
