Set for extended absence Limar (upper body) will undergo surgery and miss an extended period of time, per Andy Yamashita of the Seattle Times.
Impact Washington's top two running backs, Limar and Quaid Carr, are both out for extended periods of time with an upper body injury that requires surgery. That's a rough injury blow for the Huskies to contend with immediately. Trey Cooley could be poised for a big role now that both Carr and Limar are sidelined for the time being.

May log big usage against Washington State Limar will get "significant" carries in Sunday's game against Washington State, Aaron Coe of Emerald City Spectrum reports.
Impact Even though Limar is not listed as a starter for Washington's upcoming game against Washington State, he is still a candidate to get some big numbers in the Apple Cup. The senior proved that he could be among a top team's upper echelon of running backs, having logged 46 rushing yards for 262 yards and three touchdowns in his 2025 season with a championship-contending Oregon.

Impact Limar will return to the practice field for fall camp after missing the Huskies' spring practices due to an ankle injury. The running back spent three seasons at Oregon before joining Washington, where he was primarily used as a depth piece. He will look to compete for the starting role during fall camp against Quaid Carr, Trey Cooley, and others.
JULY 30 • ROTOWIRE
Out for spring Limar (ankle) is expected to be out for the reminder of spring, per Aaron Coe of Emrerald City Spectrum.
Impact Limar is still recovering from ankle surgery that he recently underwent. Once healthy, he should serve as Washington's No. 2 running back behind Jordan Washington during the upcoming season.
MARCH 29 • ROTOWIRE

Dante Moore threw four touchdown passes and ran for another score and No. 5 Oregon beat No. 19 James Madison 51-34 on Saturday night in a College Football Playoff opener
DECEMBER 21, 2025 • Associated Press
Off Ducks' injury tally Limar (foot) isn't listed on Oregon's injury report ahead of the Ducks' clash with James Madison in the College Football Playoff.
Impact Limar is officially available, at least as of Wednesday night, for Oregon for the first time since Week 7. The rotational tailback had 42 carries for 249 yards and three touchdowns to that point, as well as eight catches for 54 yards. It's unclear how often he'll be used after such a lengthy absence, but he's available nonetheless.
DECEMBER 17, 2025 • ROTOWIRE
Participates in Monday's practice Limar (foot) participated in Monday's team practice, James Crepea of OregonLive.com reports.
Impact Limar, who has sat out Oregon's last six games, is looking closer to being an available option for the College Football Playoff. UO's first-round matchup will see the Ducks host James Madison, and their relatively long injury list can use some breathing room via Limar's foot problem clearing up. While healthy, Limar logged 42 rushing attempts for 249 yards and three touchdowns.
DECEMBER 15, 2025 • ROTOWIRE
Out once again Limar (foot) did not play during Oregon's 26-14 victory over Washington on Saturday.
Impact Limar was unable to suit up against the Huskies, marking his sixth consecutive missed contest to end the season due to a foot injury. The 5-foot-11 running back will therefore finisht he 2025 regular season with 249 yards and three touchdowns on 5.9 yards per attempt on the ground to go along with eight receptions for 54 scoreless yards through the air. He will hope to rest up and make himself available for Oregon's presumable upcoming playoff matchup.
NOVEMBER 30, 2025 • ROTOWIRE
Questionable for Week 14 Limar (foot) is questionable for Saturday's game at Washington, Aaron Coe of EmeraldCitySpectrum.com reports.
Impact For the first time since October, there is at least a chance that Oregon may use Limar in a game. A foot injury had taken him out of action indefinitely until he logged five consecutive DNPs.
NOVEMBER 29, 2025 • ROTOWIRE
Will be out "a little bit" Limar is expected to be out "for a little bit" but not a "long time," head coach Dan Lanning told James Crepea of The Oregonian on Monday.
Impact The absence of Limar limits the Ducks' depth on the backfield, though he's not going to be a significant fantasy loss given his depth role. It's safe to say he won't be able to face Wisconsin, but he might return against Iowa after the bye week.
OCTOBER 20, 2025 • ROTOWIRE
Out vs. Rutgers Limar (undisclosed) is out for Saturday's game at Rutgers.
Impact Limar is a depth piece in the backfield. He's had some good performances, but overall, his absence shouldn't cause a big impact in most fantasy formats.
OCTOBER 18, 2025 • ROTOWIRE
Leads backfied in blowout Limar notched 12 carries for 70 yards and hauled in all two targets for 22 yards during Saturday's 41-7 win against Oregon State.
Impact Noah Whittington (undisclosed) ws out again for Oregon, and Limar took first reps for the Ducks in the lopsided victory. The Ducks continue to rotate several backs into the mix, and it's anyone's guess as to who will lead the room when they take on Penn State. If Whittington returns, Limar may revert to a backup role.
