GAME LOG

Records first touchdown Poke logged three receptions (on six targets) for 79 yards and a touchdown during Saturday's 41-20 defeat to UNLV.
Impact While the Aztecs offense struggled as a whole Saturday, Poke was able to deliver one of his better outings of the season, highlighted by a 46-yard touchdown grab in the third quarter, his first off the season. The senior wideout now has 42 receptions for 383 yards in 10 games after joining San Diego State as a transfer from West Virginia in the offseason.

Leading receiver in loss Poke gathered in 10 of 13 targets for 80 yards during Saturday's 29-26 defeat to Washington State.
Impact Poke recorded season highs in yards, receptions and targets with Louis Brown (suspension) unavailable Saturday. While Poke hasn't had a breakout game yet this year, the senior now has 18 receptions on 22 targets for 140 yards in his last two contests. Poke should see steady volume again next week against Boise State if Brown remains sidelined.
OCTOBER 29, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Nine targets in win Poke gathered in 8 of 9 targets for 60 yards during Saturday's 27-24 win over Wyoming.
Impact Poke looked to have reclaimed a more prominent role in the Aztecs' passing attack after seeing five or fewer targets in each of his last three games. Overall, the senior's brought in 24 catches for 190 yards with no touchdowns so far this season.
OCTOBER 15, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Nine targets in Week 1 Poke logged six receptions (on nine targets) for 30 yards during Saturday's 45-14 victory over Texas A&M-Commerce.
Impact Poke wound up trailing both Louis Brown and Jordan Napier in yards, though the senior wideout led the team in both receptions and targets. Poke, who joined SDSU as a transfer from West Virginia, figures to be one of Danny O'Neil's primary weapons in the Aztecs' new-look offense.
SEPTEMBER 4, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Starting in Week 1 Poke is listed as a starter on San Diego State's inaugural depth chart of the season.
Impact Poke battled injuries this offseason, and was especially limited in the spring, missing the spring game. However, he's healed up and recovered in time to be a Week 1 starter for the Aztecs. The transfer from West Virginia will look to be heavily involved in SDSU's passing attack this fall.
AUGUST 27, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Sits out spring game Poke did not play during San Diego State's spring game due to a lower-leg injury, Kirk Kenney of The San Diego Union-Tribune reports.
Impact Apparently, the injury to his left leg may be a minor one. This gives Poke at least a slight possibility to return before San Diego State's team conducts its fall camp, which would allow him more than enough time to prepare before the Aztecs commence their 2024 season.
APRIL 24, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Enters transfer portal Poke has entered the NCAA transfer portal, AithELITE reports.
Impact Poke will look for more opportunity at a different program after spending one season with West Virginia. The senior wide receiver totaled two receptions for 11 yards in 2023, the lowest mark of his collegiate after having three consecutive seasons with more than 20 receptions and 300 yards with Kent State.
DECEMBER 4, 2023 • ROTOWIRE
Heading to West Virginia Poke announced Sunday via his personal Instagram account that he has committed to West Virginia, joining the program as a transfer from Kent State.
Impact Poke should fill a major void for the Mountaineers both at receiver and in the return game, after West Virginia saw their top four wideouts from 2022 (Bryce Ford-Wheaton, Sam James, Kaden Prather and Reese Smith) either declare for the 2023 NFL Draft or head into the transfer portal. During his final year at Kent State, Poke recorded 31 receptions for 362 yards and one touchdown on 48 targets while adding seven yards and another score on the ground.
DECEMBER 18, 2022 • ROTOWIRE
Status for Saturday unknown Poke (undisclosed) is listed in the "questionable to doubtful" range for Saturday's battle against VMI according to coach Sean Lewis.
Impact Poke had a strong showing at the end of last season as he accumulated multiple touchdowns and one 100+ yard game during the final month of last season. After suffering an undisclosed injury, Poke's status is unknown for Kent State's home opener. More details on the severity of the injury should be revealed later this week.
