Impact Lane pulled off the rare trick of scoring touchdowns on all three of his catches Saturday. The 6-foot-4 sophomore has been a physical mismatch for most corners and defensive backs this season, and this continued with three scores from within the 12-yard line. Two of these scores came during the fourth quarter, including quarterback Jayden Maiava's third and final touchdown with just 13 seconds remaining. Lane finishes the 2024 regular season with nine touchdowns on just 36 catches (on 63 targets) for 398 yards across 12 appearances. He'll look to keep making plays in the red zone during USC's upcoming bowl game, though it's currently unclear which postseason contest the Trojans will compete in.

Impact Lane didn't have much of a role in this offensive outburst for the Trojans. Quarterback Miller Moss logged 308 passing yards while logging a season-log 28 passing attempts, and wideouts Makai Lemon and Kyle Ford and running back Woody Marks combined for 19 of these targets. Lane has been one of Moss' top targets for most of the year with 47 targets across the first seven games. The sophomore wideout will look to play a bigger role during next week's road game at Washington.

Catches TD in Week 8 Lane notched four receptions (on seven targets) for 51 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 29-28 loss to Maryland.

Impact Lane bounced back after back-to-back down outings at Minnesota and versus Penn State, as he logged just four catches (on 12 targets) for 31 yards over this span. Lane's slight increase in targets are easily explained by quarterback Miller Moss' 50 passing attempts, which is his second-most of any game this season. Meanwhile, wideouts Kyron Hudson and Makai Lemon led the team in targets with 10 and eight, respectively. Lane has not had many great games outside of his two-touchdown performance versus Wisconsin in Week 5. But, he slightly eads the Trojans in receiving touchdown this season, and his 6-foot-4 stature should continue to net him a solid number of scoring opportunities in the red zone.

Logs 18 receiving yards in loss Lane caught two of four targets for 18 yards during Saturday's 33-30 overtime loss versus Penn State.

Impact Lane had just two catches for the second week in a row. After his breakout 10-catch and two-touchdown outing versus Wisconsin in Week 5, it looks like the 6-foot-4 wideout is regressing to his mean, as he's averaged 3.0 catches on 4.7 targets per game in three games prior to the Badgers game. Lane will continue to vie for targets in a receiving corps that is stacked with other talented sophomore pass-catchers. The Trojans will next play at Maryland in Week 8.

Catches two passes Week 6 Lane reeled in two of eight targets for 13 yards during Saturday's 24-17 defeat versus Minnesota.

Impact Lane fell back down to earth after his career-best 10-catch peformance last week versus Wisconsin. The 6-foot-4 sophomore logged his second-most targets of any game this season, but he finished with a season-worst 13 receiving yards. Quarterback Miller Moss also had his worst performance of the year with 200 passsing yards and a 60.5 completion percentage on 38 passing attempts. Lane still tallied a team-high in targets ahead of redshirt junior Kyron Hudson (six) and fellow sophomore Zachariah Branch (six). Lane and Moss will look to get back on the same page when they return home for this coming Saturday's contest against a stingy Penn State defense.

Totals 105 yards in win Lane tallied 10 receptions (on 13 targets) for 105 yards and two touchdowns during Saturday's 38-21 win versus Wisconsin.

Impact Lane became USC's first receiver to record a 100-yard game this season. The 6-foot-4 wideout was a size mismatch for the Badgers' cornerbacks, hauling in a 32-yard touchdown with a sliding, one-handed grab on the opening drive followed by a jumping six-yard score in the third quarter that began the Trojans' second-half comeback. Lane totaled 14 targets while playing a supporting role through the first three games of the season, as he's mixed into a group that includes three other talented sophomores in Zachariah Branch, Duce Robinson and Makai Lemon (undisclosed). So far this season, quarterback Miller Moss has spread the ball around to this group along with senior Kyron Hudson; so, it's unlikely that Lane will be featured as heavily week-to-week moving forward.

However, Lane's 24-yard score actually put the team up 24-20 midway through the fourth quarter. The 6-foot-4 wideout totaled eight targets over the first two games of the season, but he tied for the team's third-most targets behind wideouts Zachariah Branch (12) and Kyron Hudson (seven) in Week 4. Lane could conintue to see increased usage now that another one of the team's top targets, tight end Lake McRee, will be sidelined for some time with a lower-body injury.

Impact Lane had a relatively quiet night before showing up huge in the fourth quarter, grabbing three targets along with the game-tying 28-yard touchdown pass on a vertical route into the end zone. The 6-foot-4 wideout is among a group of highly-talented sophomore skill players for the Trojans, and he was one of six USC pass-catchers to record at least 45 receiving yards Sunday. With a Week 2 matchup versus Utah State followed by a bye week, it's likely that fantasy owners won't get a complete picture of how this starting unit will shake out until the conference opener at Michigan on Saturday, Sept. 21.
