Impact Mack was a question mark this season but the starting gunslinger should be good to for the first time since Week 5. Through four games and some change this season, Mack reeled in 13 catches for 126 yards and one score.

Out again Mack (undisclosed) is out for Saturday's game against New Mexico State.

Impact Mack will stay sidelined as the Hilltoppers take on New Mexico State at home. The 5-foot-11 wide receiver will luckily now have a bye week to deal with his injury before another home clash against Middle Tennessee State on Nov. 15.

Impact Mack had a productive outing Saturday as he gained 91 yards, his second-most in a game this season. He also saw five targets for the first time since Week 2. Although Mack has made some big catches this season, he has yet to find the end zone. He has one more chance Saturday versus UAB in the season finale.

81 yards in win Mack logged three receptions (on four targets) for 81 yards during Saturday's 55-24 victory versus East Carolina.

Impact Mack recorded 81 yards in Saturday's win, his second most in a game this season. He received four targets for the second straight game, but he has only exceeded that number once in six games which is not ideal. The 49ers are not favored in any of the next four games though, which likely means the team will be forced to pass more than they did versus East Carolina.

Productive in Saturday's loss Mack gathered in all five targets for 118 yards during Saturday's 38-20 loss versus North Carolina.

Impact After being shut out in Week 1, Mack exploded with 118 yards on five catches in Saturday's loss. He played with both Max Brown (undisclosed) prior to Brown's injury, and then with the replacement Deshawn Purdie. He led the team in receptions and yards and ranked second in targets, indicating he may have a larger role in the offense than previously thought.
