Ineligible for 2025 Credle is ineligible for Middle Tennessee State's 2025 season because of academic reasons, Jake Bolden of the Blue Raider Podcast on the G5 Hive Podcast reports.

Impact Academic reasons explain why Credle was not part of Middle Tennessee State's spring roster that the team released months earlier. During its 2024 season, he logged 109 carries for 471 yards and four touchdowns. The running back also recorded 27 receptions for another 125 yards. Unfortunately for Credle, he will not get an immediate opportunity to build off that effort, pushing his earliest game to 2026.

Impact Credle has averaged 4.7 yards per carry, which is exactly what he averaged last year. He has a larger role this season, but he's only topped 50 rushing yards in one game this season, and his 17 catches have yielded 72 yards.

Impact Credle has three touchdowns through six games, but also has only topped 40 rushing yards once. Jekail Middlebrook also returned from injury and got more carries, which may be a bad sign.

Breaks off long TD Credle ran 12 times for 125 yards and a touchdown against Duke on Saturday. He also caught four passes for 16 yards.

Impact Credle is getting an opportunity with Frank Peasant (undisclosed) out. He did take off for a 66-yard touchdown scamper, but he came into this game having averaged 2.6 yards per carry, so he has to prove he has big-play ability beyond one run.
