Good to go for preseason Guerendo (undisclosed) and Wisconsin's other seven scholarship running backs were all healthy for the first preseason practice Friday, Jesse Temple of The Athletic reports.

Impact An unspecified issue kept Guerendo sidelined for Wisconsin's win over Wake Forest in the Duke's Mayo Bowl last December, but the redshirt junior looks ready to go for the start of the 2021 campaign. Guerendo, who carried 11 times for 36 yards in 2020, is expected to fill a depth role in the backfield behind projected starter Jalen Berger.
