Setting tone for position Provience has set the tone at North Carolina State's tight end position, Noah Fleischman of On3.com reports.

Impact By impressing during North Carolina State's fall camp, Provience looks like the Wolfpack tight ends' top option. He is an all-around TE, with blocking and receiving both as excellent parts of his game. During both 2024 and 2025, with Montana State, Provience logged 100-plus receiving yards and one touchdown. The question becomes how much Provience's game translates to the FBS level and with a Power Conference program like NC State.

Headed to NC State Provience has committed to NC State, Noah Fleischman of On3Sports reports.

Impact Provience will head to the FBS level after catching 11 passes for 135 yards and a touchdown for Montana State -- the FCS national champions. While Provience is more of a blocking tight end, NC State's offense has been friendly to the TE position, as Justin Joly, who graduated after 2025, has thrived in recent years.
