Impact Card did not play during the second half of this blowout loss, which was the Boilermakers' most lopsided defeat in the 125-game series versus the Hoosiers. This marked the low point for what was an extremely disappointing 2024 campaign for Card, who completed 58.1 percent of his passes for 1,641 yards and nine touchdowns to seven interceptions in his second season at Purdue. With the Boilermakers eliminated from competing in a bowl game and after head coach Ryan Walters was fired Sunday, it's unlikely that Card will fit into the team's future at quarterback moving forward.

Tosses for 342 yards Card was 26-for-47 passing for 342 yards, one touchdown and one interception during Friday's 24-17 defeat to Michigan State. He also had six rushes for -20 yards.

Impact Card set a new career-high as he passed for over 300 yards for the first time this season. The senior signal-caller still wasn't very efficient, as a lot of this production came because he also logged a season-high in passing attempts. However, he did play a relatively clean game until he threw an interception in the fourth quarter on a pass that bounced off a couple players before being caught by linebacker Jordan Turner. The quarterback still put his team in position to win late, but wideout De'Nylon Morrissette dropped a long pass while running alone along the sideline on fourth down. Card could be in line to play his last game for the Boilermakers during next week's regular-season finale against Indiana.

Impact Card was held without a touchdown for the second week in a row, marking the third time in the last four outings that he's been held scoreless. The senior signal-caller was pulled after the Boilermakers fell down 35-3 in the third quarter, leaving redshirt sophomore Ryan Browne to finish out the game. Card's best play of the game would have been a 47-yard touchdown to wideout Jahmal Edrine, but the play was overturned after it was ruled that Card had crossed the line of scrimmage. The Boilermakers' offense is dealing with a myriad of issues outside of their quarterback play, so he shouldn't be in major jeopardy of losing his starting job before this Friday's game at Michigan State.

Throws pick in blowout loss Card completed nine of 19 passes for 108 yards and one interception during Saturday's 45-0 loss to Ohio State. He also had six rushes for negative nine yards.

Impact Card had his worst outing since the Week 4 loss to Oregon State. There have not been many positives in his three outings in between Week 4 and Week 11, as he completed 60.2 percent of his passes while averaging 184.0 passing yards per game. Card has now totaled eight passing touchdowns to five interceptions this season, and eight of his touchdowns came in the season opener versus Indiana State. His uninspiring play this season could push the team to replace him with backup Ryan Browne as the team's starting quarterback. However, it's unlikely that the coaching staff would make such a move ahead of this coming Saturday's game versus Penn State.

Impact Purdue has used both of its top two quarterbacks in recent weeks as Card has struggled to put much distance between him and his backup Browne. Card enters Week 11 against Ohio State as the starter, but he won't take all the snaps at the gunslinger position. Card is coming off one of his better performances this season in the loss to Northwestern, tossing for 267 yards and a touchdown while completing 56.8 percent of his passes.

Impact Card returned after missing the Boilermakers' last two games with a concussion. The senior quarterback delivered his most productive outing since the Week 1 blowout win against Indiana State. However, he was still largely inefficient with a 56.8 competition percentage, and this outing came against a relatively soft Northwestern defense. Card has now completed 60.2 percent of his passes in three starts against Big Ten opponents. The next two weeks will feature matchups against two of the toughest defenses in the nation with Ohio State in Week 11 and Penn State in Week 12.

Impact Card and Browne both participating in Purdue's upcoming game indicates the team is not entirely sure who its QB1 is. This may be somewhat of a downgrade for Card, who was Purdue's clear-cut QB1 before an injury took him out of action and allowed an opportunity for Browne to excel.

Impact Card didn't play against Oregon while nursing a concussion. However, it now appears that there may be more going into Purdue's quarterback decisions than injury, as head coach Ryan Walters said "both of them give us a shot" in regards to Card and Browne. The latter has a rough showing against Oregon, completing just 47.4 percent of his passes for 93 yards with no touchdowns and an interception. Thus, the fact that Browne is still in consideration to start over Card gives you a sense of how this coaching staff views its quarterback room.

Impact Card didn't play against Illinois due to a concussion, and now his timetable for a return is unclear. Ryan Browne will start in his place as the Boilermakers' starting signal caller. Card hasn't been anything special in his second year in West Lafayette, tossing for 738 yards, seven touchdowns and four interceptions while completing 63.4 percent of his passes.

Impact It is unclear how Card suffered the upper-body injury, but it will cause Card to sit out Purdue's upcoming game and log his first DNP of 2024. In his place, Ryan Browne will get the start at quarterback for the Boilermakers. As for Card, his next opportunity to play will be against Oregon on Oct. 18, one week from now.

Impact Card completed less than 53 percent of his passes and averaged under 5.5 yards per attempt for the third time in the last four games. The senior also failed to log log a touchdown for the first time this season, but he also avoided giving up a turnover for the first time since the season opener. Card doesn't have much of anything going for him in the Boilermakers' offense, and the team's overall lack of success should cotinue to supress his statistics moving forward. They'll look to bounce back this coming Saturday at Illinois.

Struggles again Week 5 Card completed 18 of 25 passes for 174 yards, one touchdown and one interception during Saturday's 28-10 loss versus Nebraska. He also had seven rushes for -22 yards.

Impact Card improved his stat line following last week's disastrous outing agianst Oregon State. The senior quarterback still wasn't overly impressive against the Cornhuskers, as his lone passing touchdown came with just under 1.5 minutes left in the fourth quarter. Purdue moved on from offensive coordinator Graham Harrell following Saturday's loss, as the team has totaled 12.7 points per game over its last three contests. Card and the Boilermakers will look to turn things around during this coming Saturday's road game at Wisconsin.

Logs 56 passing yards in loss Card was 7-for-17 passing for 56 yards, one touchdown and one interception during Saturday's 38-21 loss against Oregon State. He also had three rushes for 33 yards.

Impact Card tossed his third interception of the season, giving up a pick-six on his first passing attempt Saturday. The senior quarterback kept the game close in the first half with a 33-yard touchdown pass to tight end Max Klare midway through the second quarter. But, he still fnished with easily his worst stat line since becoming the Boilermakers' starter at the start of last season, as the team instead relied upon the rushing game with Devin Mockobee and Reggie Love logging 26 combined carries for 234 yards and two touchdowns. Since his near-flawless season-opener against Indiana State, Card has gone 18-for-41 passing for 180 yards and two touchdowns with three interceptions over back-to-back games versus Notre Dame and Oregon State. The opposing slate won't get much easier during this coming Saturday's home game against Nebraska.

Impact Card took a significant slide from his near-flawless outing Week 1 versus Indiana State. The senior quarterback was hounded all game by Notre Dame's defense, as he was sacked four times for a loss of 40 yards. The Boilermakers lost almost every significant receiver from last year's squad, and, while the season opener offered some worthwhile optimism, it looks like Purdue could be in store for a tough season of turnover. The fact that Card was never removed from Saturday's loss should provide some confidence that he'll reamin the starting quarterback so long as he's healthy. He and the rest of the offense should have a chance to bounce back this coming Saturday at Oregon State, which just lost 49-14 at home against Oregon in Week 3.

Near-perfect in Week 1 Card was 24-for-25 passing for 273 yards and four touchdowns during Saturday's 49-0 win versus Indiana State.

Impact Purdue's offense had everything working against the outmatched Sycamores, as the Boilermakers scored touchdowns on five of their first seven offensive series. Card was at the center of this with passing touchdowns to four different receivers. This was highlighted by a leaping touchdown grab by wideout Leland Smith on a 31-yard pass from Card midway through the third quarter. After Purdue lost its best receiver from last season, Deion Burks, in the transfer portal this offseason, it's encouraging that Card was able to spread the ball around his receiving corps in this dominant win. However, he and the Boilermakers will face a whole another caliber of opponent when they next play Saturday, Sept. 14 versus Notre Dame, which is expected to have one of the best all-around defenses in the sport this season.
