SEPTEMBER 23 • ROTOWIRE

Two scores in victory Dalton recorded 17 carries for 48 yards and two touchdowns and gathered in all two targets for -14 yards during Saturday's 38-14 win over Connecticut.

Impact Dalton saw a plethora of opportunities due to injuries to both DeJuan Williams and Iverson Howard and managed to find paydirt twice on the day. The 5-foot-10 back found the end zone on runs of four and two yards in the second and third quarters, respectively, helping to build the Maryland lead. While his efficiency number aren't anything to write home about (2.8 YPC), his nose for the end zone has been on display thus far as he has accounted for three touchdowns in two games for the Terps. While he appears to be behind Williams and potentially Howard on the depth chart, it certainly looks like he could see a respectable role if either of those players were to be out moving forward. A home matchup against Virginia Tech awaits on Saturday.

Not on bowl game injury report Dalton (transfer portal) isn't listed on USC's injury report ahead of the Alamo Bowl against TCU.

Impact Dalton had previously entered the transfer portal, but he wasn't included on USC's list of players who are "out" for Tuesday night against TCU. Thus, he could feasibly suit up, although it wouldn't make much sense for him to risk his health or for USC to play a player it's already lost to the portal.
