Impact O'Neill was third in receiving yards, but first in receptions, and 62 yards isn't bad. He had seven catches in Sam Houston's season opener, so he does seem to be the top target in this offense.

Impact O'Neill also had nine targets after having 69 all of last season. The Bearkats are going with sophomore Landyn Locke at quarterback, and while he can air it out he is not a threat with his legs. The plan seems to be to let Locke throw it a bunch, and if O'Neill is his top target, he could be in for a big season.

Impact O'Neill did basically nothing all season, and then over the last two weeks of the season he totaled 16 catches. This was also his first, and only, touchdown of the season. Better late than never.
