Impact Lopez left the blowout loss to the Knights and was unable to return, but it wasn't before throwing two interceptions. The severity of the starting quarterback's injury remains unknown. He'll luckily have a bye week to get back to health before the Tar Heels' home game against Clemson on Oct. 4.

Impact It's tough to learn much about Lopez from this performance. He again struggled with his efficiency (55 percent completion) and only tossed for 119 yards, but he did score twice, protect the football and help lead the Tar Heels to a blowout, albeit over an FCS opponent. He'll continue to be the man under center for North Carolina moving forward, but his play will need to take a jump with a game against Central Florida on tap and the ACC schedule looming.
