Competing for starting job Prater is participating in a battle for the starting quarterback spot for Cincinnati in 2022, Justin Williams of The Athletic reports.
Impact Prater, who has spent two seasons with the Cincinatti program, is locked in a two-way battle for the starting spot with senior Ben Bryant. The 6-foot-4 sophomore has appeared in six games for the Bearcats, totaling 38 passing yards, two touchdowns and one interception. Prater also rushed for 109 yards and two touchdowns on 14 attempts in those appearances. Prater will look to battle for the starting job, leveraging his recent presence with the program.
