Impact Hampton will enter the transfer portal following four seasons with Northern Illinois. The redshirt junior quarterback led the Huskies to a 7-5 season in 2024, including a marquee win over national title contender Notre Dame, throwing for 1,600 yards and 12 touchdowns to six interceptions through the air while adding 129 yards and a pair of scores on the ground as well. It remains to be seen whether Hampton will wait until after UNI's upcoming bowl game to officially enter the portal.

In the future, his true value will likely have a ceiling of his rushing performance, unless the running backs for Northern Illinois stop being as effective as they have so far been.
