GAME LOG

Out for Week 6 Scott (foot) is out for Saturday's game against Wake Forest.
Impact After leaving last week's game early in a walking boot, Scott will miss his first game of the season this Saturday against the Demon Deacons. The running back registered just five carries for 12 yards before exiting against Louisville. The Georgia native has 62 rushes for 358 yards and four touchdowns this season.
3 DAYS AGO • ROTOWIRE
Seen wearing boot Saturday Scott will not return to Saturday's game against Louisville, R. Cory Smith of 247Sports.com reports.
Impact Scott was forced to visit the locker room after taking a hit and was observed wearing a boot on this left foot on the sidelines, signaling the end of his day. The junior running back totaled five carries for 12 yards prior to his exit. More news regarding the severity of his injury should surface in the coming days.
OCTOBER 3 • ROTOWIRE
Runs for 148 yards, two scores Scott notched 25 carries for 148 yards and two touchdowns during Saturday's 41-31 win against Appalachian State.
Impact Scott averaged 5.9 yards per rushing attempt in Saturday's bounce-back victory. On the road, Scott is averaging 35.0 rushing yards per game with zero touchdowns in two games, and at home he is averaging 138.0 rushing yards per game with four total scores. He'll look to keep up the good work when Louisville visits Carter-Finley Stadium next Saturday.
SEPTEMBER 26 • ROTOWIRE
Totals 17 touches in loss to Vandy Scott posted 16 carries for 50 yards during Saturday's 35-31 defeat to Vanderbilt.
Impact Scott also was able to add a 13-yard reception, but his 3.1 yards per rushing attempt was a bit concerning. The junior from Stockbridge, Ga. tore up Richmond of the FCS last week, but in two games against FBS defenses, he has 23 carries for 70 yards, or 3.0 yards per attempt, with no touchdowns. He also lost a fumble against the Commodores. He'll look to bounce back next week when Appalachian State visits Raleigh.
SEPTEMBER 19 • ROTOWIRE
Hits triple digits with two scores Scott had nine carries for 128 yards and two touchdowns during Friday's 73-0 win over Richmond.
Impact Scott was fabulous, carving up the FCS defense of the Spiders for 14.2 yards per rushing attempt, bolstered by a 65-yard touchdown scamper with 10:44 to go in the first quarter. Both of his touchdowns came in the first quarter before giving way to backups Dylan McCoy, Davion Gause and Jonathan Paylor. In what should be a closer game at Vanderbilt, expect Scott's carry total to increase in next Saturday's road trip.
SEPTEMBER 12 • ROTOWIRE
Shines in Week 2 victory Scott (undisclosed) rushed nine times for 128 yards and two touchdowns in Friday's 73-0 win over Richmond.
Impact The Wolfpack earned their first win of the season with a dominant display on both sides of the ball, and Scott was unstoppable on the ground. He averaged 14.2 yards per carry and found the end zone twice, effectively delivering a bounce-back effort after rushing just seven times for 20 yards while dealing with an injury in the season opener. Scott should remain the Wolfpack's RB1 as long as he stays healthy.
SEPTEMBER 11 • ROTOWIRE
Confident in bounce back Scott (undisclosed) feels confident he'll bounce back after his performance in NC State's Week 0 opener, per Noah Fleischman of On3.com.
Impact Scott suffered an undisclosed injury during the team's season opener and was held to just 20 yards on seven rushing attempts. The 5-foot-10 running back has not yet been officially cleared for the team's Week 2 matchup against Richmond, but his words indicate that he feels confident in his ability to not only play but perform at a high level.
SEPTEMBER 10 • ROTOWIRE
Dealing with injury Scott is dealing with an undisclosed injury, Noah Fleischman of On3.com reports.
Impact Scott was noted to have been dinged up during last week's season opener against West Virginia, and there is no status update regarding his availability for NC State's game against Richmond next Friday. The running back has about a week to continue to recover and suit up, but for the time being, his status is questionable.
SEPTEMBER 3 • ROTOWIRE
Mostly bottled up in opener loss Scott compiled seven rushes for 20 yards during Saturday's 34-8 defeat versus Virginia.
Impact Scott averaged just 2.9 yards per game, and the Wolfpack had a ton of difficulty solving an extremely sturdy Virginia defense. Scott wasn't targeted in the passing game, too. He is the top back in Raleigh, taking over for the departed Hollywood Smothers. He'll look for much better results next Friday in the home opener against FCS Richmond.
AUGUST 29 • ROTOWIRE
Solidifying lead role in backfield Scott is expected to maintain the lead role in the NC State backfield heading into the 2026 season, per Tucker Sennett of SI.com.
Impact Scott has been looked at as the heir apparent for the Wolfpack running game throughout the offseason and has the confidence of the coaching staff. The 5-foot-10 redshirt sophomore ran for 581 yards and four touchdowns on 5.5 YPC to go along with 15 receptions for 132 scoreless yards through the air last season.
APRIL 23 • ROTOWIRE
Posts 100-yard game Scott notched 19 rushes for 108 yards and reeled in 0 of 2 targets for zero yards during Friday's 31-7 victory against Memphis.
Impact Scott posted his second career game with 100+ rushing yards as the Wolfpack took down the Tigers in the Gasparilla Bowl. The 5-foot-10 redshirt freshman will finish his first season as a key piece of NC State's offense with 595 yards and four touchdowns on 106 carries (5.6 YPA). Scott was also a weapon in the receiving game, hauling in 15 receptions for 132 yards through the air. Scott and the Wolfpack will look to build off of a productive 2025-26 season this offseason.

No. 15 Georgia Tech can clinch a trip to the Atlantic Coast Conference championship game by beating Pittsburgh on Saturday
NOVEMBER 19, 2025 • Associated Press
Monster game as starting RB Scott had 24 rushes for 196 yards and one touchdown and gathered in all two targets for 11 yards during Saturday's 48-36 victory against Georgia Tech.
Impact Scott served as NC State's top rusher Saturday while Hollywood Smothers (undisclosed) was sidelined. Scott handled a workhorse role and didn't disappoint. He averaged 8.2 yards per carry and topped 200 yards from scrimmage. He delivered the crushing blow to Georgia Tech, scoring on a 30-yard run to give the Wolfpack an 18-point lead in the fourth quarter. While Scott isn't a threat to take the starting role from Smothers, he may have earned himself a couple more opportunities down the stretch of the regular season.
