Dre'lon Miller News, Rumors, Updates - Baylor Bears

Listed as co-starter for Week 1 Miller is listed as a co-starter at wide receiver in the Week 1 depth chart for Saturday's game against Auburn, Zach Smith of the Waco Tribune reports.

Impact Listed along with Miller as starting wide receivers is Louis Brown and Gavin Freeman. It likely means that Baylor plans to feature primarily three wide receiver sets for this matchup. Miller spent two seasons at Colorado where he saw limited action, but it appears he should be a bigger focal point with Baylor.

Should start in Waco Miller is projected to start for Baylor this fall, per Tyler Gillum of Bears On SI.

Impact Miller spent two seasons at Colorado, and while the Buffs got him involved to the tune of 52 total catches for 435 yards and four touchdowns, he felt underused in Boulder. Now, the wideout should see an uptick in production as a starter in the Bears' passing game, and he should man the Z receiver role or second boundary wideout in this Baylor offense.

Commits to Baylor Miller has committed to Baylor, Nick Kosko of On3.com reports.

Impact For 2024 and 2025, Miller logged Colorado seasons. Despite a statistical decline, during both years, the wide receiver recorded at least 250 scrimmage yards and multiple touchdowns. Colorado using Miller as a running back is how he updated his career-high for rushing yardage, 134 logged during 2025. Considering that Baylor's team will lose all its primary wideouts because of maximized eligibility, the transfer student has at least an adequate chance to significantly improve.
