Heading to Denton De Freitas announced his committment to play for North Texas for the 2026 season via his X account Wednesday.

Impact De Freitas will join the Mean Green following a single season with Appalachian State. The 6-foot kicker converted 20-of-27 field goal attempts while making all 33 of his extra point tries on the season. He will retain three years of eligibility with North Texas moving forward.
