Gets back on track in Louisville Lawrence had 10 rushes for 64 yards during Saturday's 30-27 win against Louisville.

Impact Lawrence fired out of the box against Akron in the opener, but he had a pair of mediocre showings at Purdue and against Miami. He is a complementary tailback to Ty Clark III, and when those two are humming, it gives Wake a nice one-two punch that it needs to make some noise in the ACC. He'll look to keep up the good work against Stanford next Saturday.

Struggles with 41 total scrimmage yards Lawrence posted six rushes for 27 yards and hauled in 1 of 2 targets for 14 yards during Friday's 33-20 defeat to Miami (FL).

Impact The run game was nearly non-existent for the Demon Deacons, as the Miami defense limited Wake Forest to 22 rushing yards on 16 attempts, or just 1.4 yards per attempt. He'll look to bounce back next Saturday at Louisville, a team which is playing well, but one which doesn't have nearly the same kind of suffocating defense as the Canes.
