Making noise in spring practices Offensive coordinator Jay Johnson said Primm "has really done some good for us early in the spring campaign," Chris Solari of the Detroit Free Press reports.

Impact There are plenty of backfield opportunities up for grabs at Michigan State, with Kenneth Walker moving on to the NFL, but as noted by Johnson it could take until fall camp for a real leader to emerge in the competition. It's still worth noting that Primm has impressed in the early stages, but this is a situation that will need to be closely monitored up to the start of the 2022 season.
