GAME LOG

Scores in Saturday's loss Hayden notched 10 rushes for 65 yards and one touchdown and caught 1 of 3 targets for negative four yards during Saturday's 42-17 loss against Arizona State.
Impact Hayden led the Buffaloes' backfield Saturday, taking a team-high 10 carries for 65 yards and a touchdown. It marked a new season high in yardage and it was his first touchdown of the season. He will look to end the season on a high note Saturday at Kansas State in the regular season finale.
NOVEMBER 23 • ROTOWIRE
Two carries in win Hayden (undisclosed) notched two carries for 10 yards during Saturday's 37-20 victory over Wyoming.
Impact Hayden was a question mark for the Buffaloes heading into Week 4, but the tailback did in fact suit up, albeit only logging two carries. He may not be at 100 percent, but he was at least healthy enough to make his 2025 debut and will try to get more involved moving forward.
SEPTEMBER 21 • ROTOWIRE
Only one snap Friday Hayden (hand) logged one snap during Colorado's 36-20 loss Friday at Houston.
Impact For the Colorado-Houston game, its injury report did not include Hayden, available then. Though the Colorado team's running backs logged 12 carries at Houston, he recorded none. Micah Welch, Simeon Price and DeKalon Taylor registered all their RB rushes.
SEPTEMBER 13 • ROTOWIRE
Available to play Friday Hayden (hand) is available to play Friday at Houston, Joseph Duarte of the Houston Chronicle reports.
Impact Hayden was spotted warming up, and it seems the star running back will be available to handle a regular workload against Houston. Look for Hayden to have a sizable work out of the backfield.
SEPTEMBER 12 • ROTOWIRE
Spotted warming up Hayden (hand) is warming up on the field ahead of Colorado's clash with Houston, per Oliver Hayes of BuffStampede.com.
Impact Hayden missed Weeks 1 and 2 for Colorado, but all signs are currently pointing to the tailback being available against Houston on Friday night. Simeon Price, Micah Welch and Dekalon Taylor have led the way on the ground for the Buffaloes thus far, but Hayden figures to mix right in upon his return.
SEPTEMBER 12 • ROTOWIRE
Probable for Week 3 Hayden (hand) is probable for Friday's game at Houston.
Impact Hayden back at practice has been a good sign for what was to come, as Colorado's team expects him available at Houston. CU will re-enter Big 12 action by playing Houston on the road, and having Hayden available to lead the Buffaloes' run game should make their offense operate much more smoothly.
SEPTEMBER 10 • ROTOWIRE
Back at practice, closer to return Hayden (hand) is both back at practice and closer to returning on the field, Scott Procter of DNVR Sports reports.
Impact Hayden being back at practice is a positive sign that he is making significant progress, even without the later note that he is closer to returning on the field for games. The running back has not played in 2025 yet but will finally look to get his year going as Colorado's team begins Big 12 action this season by playing at Houston on Friday.
SEPTEMBER 9 • ROTOWIRE

SEPTEMBER 9 • ROTOWIRE
Out once again Hayden (hand) is out for Saturday's game against Delaware, Adam Munsterteiger of 247Sports.com reports.
Impact Hayden returned to practice earlier this week, but he's not ready to play yet. His next chance to feature will come against Houston next Friday in a Week 3 matchup. With Hayden out, Micah Welch, DeKalon Taylor and Simeon Price will handle the backfield duties.
SEPTEMBER 6 • ROTOWIRE
Returns to practice, still TBD Hayden (hand) is back at practice for Colorado but remains questionable for the Buffaloes' clash with Delaware in Week 2, per Scott Procter of DNVR Sports.
Impact Hayden missed Week 1 with a hand ailment, leaving Micah Welch, Dakalon Taylor and Simeon Price to handle Colorado's backfield duties. The tailback has returned to practice, but his status for what should be a bounce-back game against Delaware in Week 2 remains unclear. If Hayden is forced to miss more time, the Buffaloes should continue to ride the three aforementioned running backs.
SEPTEMBER 2 • ROTOWIRE
Won't suit up in Week 1 Hayden (hand) is out against Georgia Tech in Week 1, per Adam Rittenberg of ESPN.com.
Impact Hayden was considered unlikely to play in Colorado's opener, and he's indeed not wearing pads as the Buffaloes take the field for warm-ups. Micah Welch and Dakalon Taylor should be the lead backs Friday night, while Hayden will look to return in Week 2 versus Delaware.
AUGUST 29 • ROTOWIRE
Unlikely to play in season opener Hayden has a hand injury that will cause him to miss a couple of weeks, and he's unlikely to play against Georgia Tech on Friday, Scott Procter of DNVR Sports reports.
Impact Hayden appeared to be healthy for most of Colorado's training camp, but it seems he went down with a hand injury in the latter half right before the start of the season. The junior running back being out a couple weeks makes him doubtful for the Buffaloes' season opener versus the Yellow Jackets. Whether he returns after this week is unknown, as being inactive a couple weeks could end up meaning a lot of things.
AUGUST 25 • ROTOWIRE
Colorado RB Dallan Hayden expected to miss Georgia Tech opener, per report | Sporting News Deion Sanders will likely be without his second-best back in two weeks.

AUGUST 6 • DENVERPOST.COM
Set to return vs. UCF Hayden (ankle) will play this week against Central Florida, Brian Howell of the Boulder Daily Camera reports.
Impact The tailback has missed the past two games after playing in Weeks 1 and 2, but now he's set to make his return to action. It was tough sledding for Hayden against North Dakota State and Nebraska, as he tallied 14 carries for 52 yards through those two games. The Colorado ground game has struggled, but Hayden's return should help open things up for himself and Micah Welch, who has seen the majority of the carries in recent weeks.
SEPTEMBER 24, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Out as expected Hayden (ankle) will remain sidelined during Saturday's game against Baylor, Tyler King of The Denver Gazette reports.
Impact Hayden, who unexpectedly appeared in Colorado's pregame warmups, will miss his second-straight game with an ankle injury. The 5-foot-10 sophomore tallied 93 yards on 17 touches across the Buffaloes' first two games, and he will have his next opportunity to return in Week 5 against UCF.
SEPTEMBER 21, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
In uniform Saturday Hayden (ankle) was spotted in uniform and going through warmups before Saturday's game against Baylor, Jake Schwanitz of DNVR reports.
Impact Contrary to a previous report from Saturday, Hayden is now a game-time call after being spotted in uniform and going through pregame warm-ups with the team. If he ends up being available, then Hayden would be the primary backup of Charlie Offerdahl.
SEPTEMBER 21, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Will not play Saturday Hayden (ankle) will not play in Saturday's game versus Baylor, Pete Thamel of ESPN.com reports.
Impact Hayden will miss his second consecutive game as he continues to deal with a high-ankle sprain. Given the typical timeframe for that injury, he is at risk of missing next Saturday's contest at UCF as well.
SEPTEMBER 21, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Questionable for Saturday Hayden (undisclosed) is questionable for the Buffaloes' game Saturday against Baylor, Nikki Edwards of Rivals reports.
Impact According to the Buffaloes' head coach Deion Sanders, they "do not know where he is" or "what he wants" now. Without him available during their latest game, Micah Welch and Isaiah Augustave logged more carries than usual.
SEPTEMBER 17, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Ruled out Saturday Hayden (undisclosed) will not play in Saturday's contest against Colorado St, Brian Howell of the Boulder Daily Camera reports.
Impact This should come as no surprise as Hayden had already been downgraded to doubtful during the week. The sophomore running back will look to get back on the field for next week's matchup against Baylor.
SEPTEMBER 14, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Doubtful for Colorado State game Hayden (undisclosed) is unlikely to play in Colorado's rivalry matchup with Colorado-State, Brian Howell of the Boulder Daily Camera reports.
Impact Hayden has been a rotational piece in Colorado's backfield, amassing 14 carries for 42 yards through two weeks. Colorado has struggled to run the football, placing most of the pressure on quarterback Shedeur Sanders to operate the offense at a high level. Still, Hayden figured to see a handful of carries each week as the second-fiddle to starting tailback Charlie Offerdahl. With Hayden likely out, Micah Welch should see an uptick in carries.
